Near the beach with excellent views and good portions, at least for their breakfast. Service was friendly although they were not that efficient, either they were short staffed or they didn’t always pay attention to surroundings. The atmosphere was great and chill, and with the views I was lot more forgiving.

Tropics Bar & Grill offers a delightful dining experience right on the beachfront. The restaurant is attached to a hotel, and while there might be a wait, it’s well worth it for the gorgeous views of the beach and sunset. They offer varied seating options including outdoor, partial indoor, and fully indoor areas. The alcoholic drinks are potent and tasty—I highly recommend the Tropical Itch and Frozen Mango Daiquiri. Do try the poke nachos, they’re a must, though beware the peppers if you’re not into spicy food ! The brisket with garlic mashed potatoes is exceptionally tender and flavorful, falling right off the fork! Although I wasn’t a big fan of the accompanying slaw with this meal, there was plenty of other delicious food to enjoy. The Hawaiian seafood medley was creamy and perfectly cooked. With a diverse menu, there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend for a meal with a view!

We - a group of five dropped by for drinks and snacks. We got served by Sohu - an excellent waiter. Really attentive and professional - and nice to chat with. We had a variety of snack (Nachos, shrimp pop corn etc. ) and it was alright food - a bit to the pricy side. The cocktails were nice made and tasted well - also a bit to the price side. Front desk personnel was quite....a bit to the ... rude side... to describe it nicely. Kind of forgetting that they are there for the customers - not the other way around. During our stay we dropped by several times - either for drinks or lunch/dinner. Always nice. Good service - tasty food.

I don't understand the negative reviews. We have eaten here twice and probably will a third before we leave. We've had different drinks all made by the awesome Rocky and as for food, from the burger, pork ribs, poke nachos, popcorn shrimp and the pan seared kampachi; ALL the dishes have been phenomenal! Yes it's busy, yes you'll have to wait, but the staff are prompt and the food is hot. It's a holiday weekend, plus peak season. Be patient and !

King Hawaiian breakfast was really good but definitely recommended for people that have a sweet tooth. The two eggs breakfast was bland, no seasoning and heavy portion. Enjoyed the view.

Convenient spot for a decent breakfast, lunch, or dinner - of which we had all three. Just wished it stayed open past 9 p.m.

Tropics Bar & Grill quickly became our go-to spot for both breakfast and dinner during our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The location was unbeatable—right at our hotel and just steps from the beach and pool. It made starting and ending our days easy and relaxing. The atmosphere was casual, family-friendly, and perfect for soaking in the island vibes. The food was absolutely exquisite, especially the breakfast. I’m still savoring the taste of the fresh papaya—it was that memorable. Every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. If you’re staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village or nearby, Tropics Bar & Grill is a must-visit. Great food, great location, and even better service. We can’t wait to come back!

We made one of our best decisions to come here for breakfast. Service was excellent and knowledgeable about the menu and surroundings. Must try the banana bread. We had the chicken and waffles, eggs benedict, side of eggs and sausage and spam. Drinks are cold too.
